Gee, I'm sorry that I don't seem to have time to do postings lately.
It been so interesting to read Geap 3 students' blogs. Today our class did Oral Presentations on a personal achievement and it turned out to be a very, very interesting time. I found out that I have a very talented group --- from playing the clarinet, singing in choir(that performed in Vienna, Austria), learning English in England, joining sport clubs, starting a restaurant business from scratch, designing an Art Oasis, Painting etc etc Very talented!
I'll try to put a recent photo of baby Domenique, who is now 5 months old.

Hi to Everyone

I hope that you are all well!
Gee it's been a long time since I blogged but I have been so busy and I have been teaching a class that did not have blogs.

Happily today my new class started blogs so hopefully I will get back into the swing of things. One new student Ismail took to it like a duck to water and even in his first blog had posted many photos of his trip to Morialta Falls. http://blackbird1402.blogspot.com

We are getting used to our new home in Grenfell Street and our new equipment and many new teachers. Also Erica, our Director of Studies is leaving us early in September. It will be sad, as she has been at PCE for a very long time and will be interesting to get used to a new DOS. You definitely don't get bored working here.

Now that I am back, I hope to post some new snaps of my darling little grandaughter Domenique who is nearly 4 months old now.

Hi everyone,
Our class certainly has grown. We now have six new students in our class and they are all very interesting people. You are a great group, especially because you get on so well together and you more senior students are vey welcoming and helpful to the new students. Thank you everyone.

I must tell you what happened last week. While we were setting up for the film, Strictly Ballroom, a former student Gift, came to the door. She had a parcel and " This from Kiwi!" I was sooooooo surprised.
It was a beautiful gift of a blanket that Kiwi, who is back living in Hong Kong, sent to me , for my little grandaughter Domenique. It was such a lovely surprise and so unexpected. Domenique just loved it. Thank you once again Kiwi!

Hi everyone
We had a great party last Friday to celebrate the end of another 5 week block and also to farewell people leaving us, namely Annick and Claire. It's sad to see them go, but it is also the beginning of new adventures for them.
People who could, brought along delicious food, and a good time was had by all. Of course there was too much food!!!
Talking about food --Geap 2 Students have just completed their first Wiki. It's called YummyGeap and it has everyone's favourite recipes from their individual countries, altogether on one site. You can find it at http://yummygeap.wetpaint.com
Also if you wish to contribute another recipe from your country, contact ----Ellie Kim at
potatonurse@hanmail.net and she can arrange it. It will then become a Wiki for all Geap students. Yuri and Lisa have already joined us.

Hi everyone
It's Mother's Day today and my children are taking us out to brunch. I am taking my own Mum as well, and we are going to a restaurant called Track (in the Air Building),on Greenhill Road.
I will be seeing little Domenique, who on Tuesday will be 2 weeks old and it will be Annalisa's first Mother's Day. I hope that you like the photos, although the quality is not the best as they have been taken with a mobile phone.

Hi Everyone
Fantastic News-- I have just become a grandmother for the very first time. My daughter-in-law Annalisa and my son Julian had their first child yesterday. She is the most beautiful little baby girl and they named her Domenique. She is tiny -6 pounds and 2 ozs and has lots of black hair.
As you can imagine they are over the moon but we all are.
The very special thing for me, is that she was also born on my birthday the 1st of May and at about the same time that I was born -- mid afternoon. So you see ------ this has been my very best birthday ever.
I will post a photo on my site as soon as I can.

I must also tell you that my lovely class gave me a great surprise for my birthday as well. When I returned from break they had organised delicious cakes with candles, very pretty flowers and a special card. A big thank you to all of Geap 2.

Hi everyone. It's bit of a sad day for me today. It was Lynda's last day with us at PCE today as she is taking up a new and exciting job in Vietnam. So it's great for her, but it's sad to say goodbye. She has been a great Geap Co-Ordinator who has really organised everything so well, so that everything ran so efficiently. As well as that she inspired everyone around her to do their best. We wish that she achieves all her goals in her new adventure!
Congratulations go to Patricia, who has taken over her position at PCE.

Hi Everyone
It's such a long time since I have blogged! I have been busy first with Nagoya and Kansai Study Tour groups and now I have a LongTerm Geap group as well as 10 from Naruto in Japan for 3 weeks. Louis is back with me and is a big help with the new students. In the long termers - I have Korean, Thai and Saudi students and in the other classes we have people from France, Taiwan and Ecuador( South America) etc so things are still very interesting and I am still enjoying teaching immensely.
My big news is that I am going to become a grandmother for the very first time soon. My daughter-in-law Annalisa who is married to my son Julian is expecting their first child at the end of April/ beginning of May, which is also near my birthday.Very, very exciting!

We are halfway through our five week Geap course and it has been very interesting for our long term Geap students to meet our students from Chosun, as well as the trans-Pep, Hao Jie,Eun Jae Soneath and Yi Jung . You are all getting on so well together and it's very interesting and exciting for me to see what great work you are all doing in your blogs. I hope that some of you keep it up when you return to your own countries.
